Blinded by Thought

“It’s taken me all my life to learn what not to play.”

-Dizzy Gillespie

My thoughts unwind. I become the waking and the working, the walking and living – happening as the world around me.  Songbirds in every tree. Their songs occur, as well, within me. My breathing and my walking and the world – the birds in the trees and their songs are this one thing.

Life occurs in the blink of an eye.

We can waste each other’s time in thousands of ways.

We can also do the best we can for each other.

We can become a species defined by compassion and cooperation.

We can inspire each other.

Focus on the very few things that count – the human ones.

Our happiness does not issue from external things.

We are, at heart, simple beings.

Fear drains our energy and the power we possess – anticipation of what may occur at any given moment, worry about things not turning out well, desire to control what is out of our control, fear of loss.

Each moment spent in appreciation of what you have is a moment of bliss.

Take care of yourself and those around you.

My thoughts unwind. I become the waking and the working, the walking and living – happening as the world around me. Songbirds in every tree. Their songs occur, as well, within me. My breathing and my walking and the world – the birds and their songs are this one thing.

The Candy Apple drops in the rain, the red candy piece form at kaleidoscope in a puddle nearby. As I walk towards it, amazed by what I see, the wind shifts and the sun creates its on brightness. Candy Apple red pieces, whirl and dance, in every wind it makes a Kaleidoscope chance.

What an awesome piece. I think this piece reminds me of “life” changing, evolving, moving, freedom, and moments of still. The music was mystical and evolutionary….I really connected with this piece.

I was reading this poem, while there was music playing in the background, when slowly my mind started to reflect at the fullness and joy of the life. I would like to start from the end: “Take care of yourself and those around you”. I deeply believe in this thought, happiness is who or what is around you, is the energy that nourishes you on daily basis, in the good and the difficult situations. This is a sort of synergy, giving affection to our loved ones, gives us a sense of fulfillment; especially nowadays when our chaotic life style leaves us no time ourselves and those around us.
