This piece caught my eye because right away I saw a sun. I like that it is in dark and light because then it is up to who looks at it whether they will perceive it as a happy bright day, or a dark depressing night.
I like this picture because when I look at it I can see a sun with its rays radiating out from the sun itself. I do not see it as bright or dark, happy or sad.
When I first saw this picture, my first immediate impression was that it was the sun. But as I kept looking at it, I realized it wasn’t the sun at all. Instead it was like a being, reaching out with little strands and connecting everything together. Like love connects us all. As humans, one of the few things that all of us experience is love. So when I look at this picture, I think that no matter how dark it gets, there is always light, always love.
This piece caught my eye because of the sun and the atmosphere. I felt as though the artist portrayed to me a mysterious outer space. Outer Space allows an artist to become very creative and there can be numerous interpretations. The Sun’s rays are also gleam.
