I am intrigued by this art work. The title itself implies that even when there is a void, there is still something to see. The general flow of this piece isn’t as smooth as the others. However I think it works to its favor. It makes me wonder about what could be beyond this world. It really makes you wonder.
This is one of my favorite black and white pieces I’ve seen. It doesn’t have the same flow as many of the other similar posts, and that works in its favor. It keeps the eye busy without overwhelming it with colors, as a similar piece with color might do. The pointillism creates shapes that could be perceived as a number of different things, or not be perceived as something at all. It would be interesting to know what first time viewers might think of what is represented in it. Pieces of art that leave a lot to the imagination are hit and miss, but this one seems to work out well. It leaves quite a bit to chew on, in a good way.
